Haishi HS-6200 is a broadcast and television transmission monitoring system, which can view video and audio services, analyze transport streams, record errors, send alarms and record transport streams. The system can be used as a tool for automatic monitoring and error diagnosis in the main control room of radio stations and cable television systems. It is a single Windows-based system that can accomplish tasks previously completed by several different devices. As it saves human resources, it will recover the cost in a short time.
Haishi HS-6200 supports DVB and ATSC broadcast program standards, supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC and national standard AVS video compression formats, and also supports common audio formats.
Haishi HS-6200 supports real-time viewing of multiple services in multiple transport streams. It can display up to 50 sets of standard-definition programs or 20 sets of high-definition programs from DVB-ASI or IP input transport streams at the same time, and can analyze and record these transport streams at the same time. All transmission stream errors will be recorded in the database for later review and analysis. Users can also select various errors to trigger alarms.
Multi-screen monitoring
The monitoring system runs on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008. The company also provides an optional Web server to connect to multiple monitoring servers in different locations, obtain test results on these monitoring servers and remotely control these servers.
Haishi HS-6200 supports multi-screen display of video and audio PCM values ??in a single-program transport stream or multi-program transport stream, calculates the audio loudness and displays the loudness value beside the video image. In addition, the system can decode and display DVB subtitles and ATSC closed caption data.
Utilizing the graphics card function, each monitoring system can support up to 4 monitoring screens for multi-screen display. The size and position of the display panel in each screen can be set arbitrarily. The system also supports the display of pure audio programs.
The system receives the transport stream through the DVB-ASI or IP interface, and can monitor multiple different transport streams at the same time. At the same time, the system also supports a variety of different IP packet protocols, including: UDP, RTP, HTTP and HLS(HTTP live streaming).
Comprehensive transport stream analysis
Haishi HS-6200 supports comprehensive analysis of DVB and ATSC transport streams, supports MPEG-2, AVC and Chinese AVS video encoding formats, and also supports common audio encoding formats, including: MP3, AAC, ACC+ and AC3. The system can decode DVB SI and ATSC PSIP metadata tables and check whether these data conform to the standard.
The system performs transport stream error detection according to the DVB test guide TR101 290 and reports all level 3 errors. The system analyzes the program structure of the transport stream, measures the PID bit rate, performs PCR and buffer analysis. It also decodes key frames and detects the presence of black frames and static frames.
In addition to MPEG transport layer testing, the system also performs IP and HTTP layer testing. It measures the delay factor and media loss rate of the IP transport stream, monitors and records the detailed HTTP session and download parameters of the transport stream in the HLS input.
Error logging and alarm
The system supports a variety of different ways to send error alarms, including: e-mail, visual graphics on the multi-screen display interface, and audio sounds. Alarms are triggered by user-specified errors, such as input loss, audio or video components, black frames or still frames, etc.
